To me there is nothing more romantic than old school dates such as drive in movies and picnics in the park. Which is why this week I am sharing details from a romantic picnic date out of my tailgate.
My truck, Hemi has decided to make his blog debut this week as it’s the perfect addition to a picnic this way there is no sitting on the ground and you can park it anywhere! As a quilter it was easy to pick a quilt to bring with me.
I kept the fare light and no need for utensils with homemade sandwiches, chips, olive, grapes and chocolate covered strawberries! It is a date after all. ๐
How adorable are these plates?!?! I fell in love with them the moment I saw them at Sugarboo & Co. in Atlanta.ย I’m a big fan of Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series and just knew I had to get these plates as I am #TeamMorelli. For those of you who haven’t read them I definitely recommend checking them out, you can snag the first one here. It’s a quick, laugh out loud read that will leaving you wanting more.
The napkins and pineapple plates are from Homegoods, and no picnic is complete without a basket and flowers! Here is another basket I’ve had my eye on.
Have you planned a picnic date this spring? What other old fashioned date ideas do you love?
Love it
