On my last trip to Grand Rapids, Michigan I was on a mission for an amazing grilled cheese sandwich! Before my trip I was told to check out Two Beards Deli when I go, of course being me I perused the menu that same day and found plenty for this vegetarian to eat including a pretty awesome grilled cheese.

 Right in the heart of Grand Rapids, and next to Kendall Art School (where I was going to attend college!) is Two Beards Deli. It’s in a perfect location, easy to find and became such a favorite that I can’t wait to come back! Every sandwich is named after a famous “beard” for example, Gandalf, Teen Wolf, Salvador Dali, Tony Stark, Charlie Chapman and the list goes on.

Personally, I chose the Salvador Dali which was a grilled cheese with smoked gouda, white cheddar, horseradish cheddar spread, provolone and muenster. I still dream about that sandwich! It was amazing! Normally I would only eat half a sandwich but it was so good that I ate the entire thing. No left overs and still licking my lips. Two Beards quickly became a must on my list of places to eat at in Grand Rapids, I definitely recommend checking it out!
