Three LBD’s you need in your closet

With Valentine’s Day being one of the biggest date night seasons of the year I thought that it would be a great time to give you 3 Little Black Dresses (LBD) that you NEED in your closet. It’s a simple three steps that should help you dress for any LBD worthy event throughout the year. Although I firmly believe that you can never have too many LBD’s.

This post contains gifted product hand picked by myself. All opinions are my own.

1. The Casual LBD

The first and most important of the little black dress family is the casual dress. Every woman will find herself in a situation where she doesn’t know whether it’s dressy or casual at least once a year. Including when your meeting up with friends and you don’t know what they’re wearing! Talk about a stressful moment when your closet turns into the abyss. This is the dress for that occasion! I chose this flawless Surplice High Low Belted Dress from Gamiss as you can easily dress it up or down using your jewelry, purse and shoes. I kept it pretty neutral with these pearl mules and my classic monogram necklace, but the fabulous thing is I also look perfectly acceptable for brunch or meeting a friend for coffee. A couple weeks ago I wore it for my Mamaw’s birthday! I knew I was going to be walking and carrying around my 10 pound Yorkie-Poo so I paired it with flats and kept it comfy. Any way you wear it, it looks fantastic!

2. The Fun Pattern LBD

I know, you’re shocked that this next dress isn’t polka dots. But those totally fall under this category! For my fun print I chose to go with this Floral Printed Retro Dress from Gamiss. It’s not only perfect for a Garden Party this Summer but a Winter Floral is perfectly on trend. There are so many patterns out there, stripes, something more whimsical like dinosaurs, etc. I suggest you pick something that speaks to your heart, because you will wear it proudly and it will keep you smiling the entire day. Y’all know I love blue, and roses are one of my favorites so this pattern was perfect for me! This dress is more light weight and has a 50’s classic look that never goes out of style.

3. Date Night LBD

The third and final LBD that’s on my list is the Date Night Dress. I prefer to have a few of these but this Empire Waisted Tunic Dress from Gamiss is my favorite. It’s so soft and has such an ease to it when it’s on. I kept it classic with my hair down and some Sugarfix earrings, not to mention comfy shoes. I prefer to keep this dress category playful, sexy and most importantly something that makes me feel amazing when I wear it. This week is the most popular date night week of the year with Valentine’s Day and I wish you all a dress that makes you feel confident and amazing!

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Any big plans this week?
