Pink & White from Dear Prudence

This bright colored top has been the object of my obsession lately, and I’m fully owning it! I picked it up at the cutest boutique called Dear Prudence in Northville, Michigan on a Girl’s Day with my friend Liz of With Wonder & Whimsy. I was thrilled to find that Dear Prudence had just brought out their new Spring items as well as some vacation ones.

This Lilly Pulitzer inspired top is actually a high/low swim suit cover, but as soon as I tried it on I knew I wanted to wear a lot more often than I am able to wear a swimsuit in Michigan. Which is why I sized down for a loose blouse feel and it’s perfect! I love that it’s so bright and cheerful in the dull, grey surroundings that I live in. Almost like I’m bringing my own much needed sunshine to my little world. It’s that soft, flowy fabric that’s beyond forgiving and perfect for layering a camisole underneath for cooler days. I’ve also got my eye on this swimsuit cover to also size down and turn into a top!

I chose to keep the bright vibes and paired the shirt with my favorite white cargo pants, Tori Burch flip flops (it was above 50 degrees!), my go-to Lilly Pulitzer gold hoops, my favorite clutch from SEmbroidered Boutique and lastly my favorite purchase last month my Gold Mirror Monogram Necklace! I came acrossย Cora’s Den on Etsy with her gorgeous monogram necklaces after my white one broke in my work out bag. It was so affordable I couldn’t believe it, and then when it came in I was floored at the amazing quality! I am getting ready to place another order with even more colors! I even love that she sends you a mock up to approve of before it goes into production. Definitely worth it if you’re looking to get a monogram necklace!

I have a busy week ahead of me as I’m sure all of you can relate to that at some point. Here is a reminder to stop and breathe, focus on yourself even if it’s just for a minute. Then continue being a Rock Star!
