I am craving the blue ocean with my toes in the sand, so what better way to deal with reality than wear a long flowy blue dress?! I also need to apologize in advance, I just got this gorgeous new Kate Spade pink purse in and I am absolutely in love with it; so of course it’s going to be in a LOT of future posts.

I can’t tell you how many compliments I got on this dress when I wore it, it definitely adds a splash of color but keeps a fun and sophisticated vibe. The number one thing that makes a dress amazing in my book is pockets! I don’t quite know why, but I absolutely adore dresses more if they have this rarely used addition. This dress is super long, I am 5’6″ so if you’re shorter than me and don’t plan on wearing heels you might need to get it hemmed a bit. I chose to pair the dress with my neutral wedges from Avenue for the perfect height and length ratio.
On one of my more recent trips to Target I came across this Nautical Knot Necklace (similar) from Sugarfix, that necklace made it to my cart so fast! It’s a great quality for the price, and I love that it’s gold and goes with anything! Because of the lack of neckline in this dress I wanted to layer it with my Lilly Pulitzer Starfish choker to keep with the theme and showcase them both.
Easter is this weekend, and I’m so excited! I leave for Kansas on Thursday just in time to celebrate. What are y’alls plans?
