I snagged this dress at Hips Resale Boutique in March and I just knew when I laid my hands on it that it was going home with me. Trying on the dress just solidified the deal for me and it has quickly become my new go-to.

I have shopped from Catherines my entire life, it’s a brand that I’ve always trusted and held dearly in my heart. And let me tell you they did not disappoint with this Black Label Navy Striped Dress, it’s absolutely gorgeous. The fabric is not only soft, flowing but also forgiving. I know it will be great to wear to events this summer. I love the nautical touches, and classic look that it gives with the vertical stripes, v-neck, and tie that gives off a wrap dress appearance.

We still have some chilly mornings here in Michigan, so I thought that the White Jacket from Avenue was a perfect addition to this outfit! It’s summer chic! Speaking of Avenue, I also grabbed my wedges from them as well, but I have also been wearing flip flops with this dress for a more casual feel. I had lunch with my Mamaw that morning, so I am sporting her pearls of course! Not to mention my new and very loved Kate Spade pink purse. I am totally ready for brunch, work, special events or even an afternoon at Starbucks!
