I have a fun life update to share with y’all, and the reason behind my quick trip to Florida this weekend… I’m now a Land Owner! That’s right, I own a little piece of the Sunshine State not to mention a couple of palm trees!Before you start to jump to conclusions, no I do not plan on moving any time soon. I merely decided to buy an investment property, I may sell it for profit in a few years, or I might even retire on it many years from now. The point is that the possibilities are endless and I am beyond proud of my Grown Up moment!

Now onto the details of my investment purchase, it’s a spacious corner lot located in Port Charlotte. (30 minutes South of Sarasota) My family and I have come to fall in love with Port Charlotte over the years and I’m down there at least once a year. The property has a majestic oak tree in the back corner as well as some palmettos and lots of new growth. I also told a Gopher Turtle that he is more than welcome to stay on the property rent free, which means I have a Tennant as well! 😉

Honestly this all happened so quickly and I am so grateful that God guided me through this journey. Because of him I had an AMAZING real estate agent that I trusted, family that cheered me through it, and friends that had no problems scouting for me while I was on the other side of the country. I truly feel blessed. My Mom made this amazing “Land Warming” gift for me that I brought just to take pictures, as it’s my passage that God has led me with.
