Hello Darlin’

I hope that y’all had a lovely Labor Day! I actually spent my weekend Fall cleaning, working and spending Monday with family. With Labor Day behind us and signs of Fall within sight I have started my transition wardrobe that includes pieces that add a bit of playfulness like this Savannah top from Grace Layne!

This post contains items in collaboration with Grace Layne, hand picked by myself.

The old rule for wearing white used to be from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Well, I’ve made my own rule over the years. My rules for wearing white is from Easter to My Birthday (Oct 14th) it’s perfectly acceptable and an occasional Winter White looks gorgeous but sparingly. But I also believe that you should do whatever you wish with your wardrobe, this is just what works best for me.

This adorable tee from Grace Layne fits perfectly into my rules. I just love the rolled up sleeves as well as the high/low hem that has been trending lately. It goes with everything! (Make sure to use code KATIE15 for 15% off!) I am OBSESSED with these polka dot pants that I picked up at Kohl’s the other day. They are super comfortable and perfect for adding a feminine touch to my daily wardrobe. They are a shorter length which is great for flats and sandals. You’ll notice I’m still rocking my favorite Tory Burch flip flops, I actually won’t put those away until the evil white flakes of death make an appearance in our frozen state.

I wanted to add a pop of color so I chose my Kate Spade Pink purse and another element of femininity so I picked up these heart earrings from Forever 21. The earrings were only $4! Talk about a steal!

Have a great short week everyone!
