New Years is coming and I can’t wait to sip on some bubbly and dance the night away. Granted Christmas is next week and don’t get me wrong, I’m totally stoked but I couldn’t wait to share my New Years Eve dress from Rosegal with y’all!

I decided to end a year and start a new one I wanted to go with a color that is literally not in my closet. I was honestly going through it, and since I have my closet color coordinated I was shocked to find I didn’t have a purple section. So, naturally I thought why not try something new and out of my norm like this purple dress. The pictures actually make it appear more blue than it is, it’s actually a true deep purple. It’s a lovely fitted dress with a built in overlay that helps give it some flare but also make it a bit more flattering.

One sleeve has sequins giving a more glitz and sparkle feeling to the dress. Which is why I thought it would be perfect for New Years! I chose to sparkle it up a bit more with these Baublebar Cinderella earrings that are quite a few years old and Nine West silver shoes. I also wanted to add a bit more playful pattern and texture with these patterned tights. It’s also frigid temps here in Michigan so they serve as dual purpose as I also help keep my legs protected from the frosty air.

I’m so looking forward to this weekend when my world returns to normal and I can take a few days off. I’m also in major packing mode for my trip. Although I’m torn whether I should plan posts for when I’m gone… Should I take a hiatus for two weeks or continue as planned?? Let me know what you think?
