DIY Essential Oil Natural Deodorant

Ready for a little DIY? I know, it’s long overdue. I have been looking for a natural deodorant for MONTHS now. And let me tell you, it’s been a very painful couple of months in doing so. I am allergic to SO much that I knew I needed something that was 100% natural. My search failed so many times that I finally started researching how to make my own. Now that I’ve perfected the recipe I’m here to share it with you.

Let’s start with the ingredients. I ordered these 4oz spray bottles off of Amazon as well as the labels for them. I actually tested the recipe with a smaller bottle just in case, but as soon as I knew it was perfect I went big. I don’t make all 6, I actually just made 3 for now but I just love the little bottles. You will also need a big bottle of Witch Hazel as that will make up the majority of the bottle.

For the recipe it calls for three different oils. These are some of my favorite go-to’s in my daily life and so they were easily in my oil stash. I use Lemon, Lavender and Frankincense. Either Frankincense will do, this sacred one was just handy. If you’re interested in ordering these little beauties you can either email me to buy one or follow the steps listed at the bottom of the page here.

To start I filled the bottle with 20 drops of each, lemon, lavender and frankincense. A total of 60 drops of oil in the 4oz bottle. You can adjust if need be for sizing. I used the droppers but it is possible with just shaking the bottles and counting.

Next and final step really is to just top off the bottle with Witch Hazel and shake. Thats it! I’m not even kidding! I usually spritz three times under each arm daily. It’s worked beautifully for me and no itchy rashes like so many of my test deodorants left me with. I told you it was painful.

I like to label my bottles as I have so many lying around. I have one for sunscreen, bug spray, window cleaner and that’s not even half of them. They’re all blue with a spray top. Which is why I ordered these assorted labels off of Amazon that came with the marker to help make my life easier.

That’s it! What do you think? Easy enough? If you have any questions, or even want to get started with oils please feel free to contact me!

Have a blessed week y’all!
