Let’s be real. After a busy filled day and a formal dinner this girl will be found in the coffee shop. My last cruise had three formal nights and this was actually the third one for me. My trip was winding down, I was relaxed, happy and had a rocking tan. Which is why I went for a more relaxed formal night look with a dress from Avenue.
The dress I am wearing is quite a few years old, but don’t worry Avenue has an amazing Spring embroidered version on their site right now that looks like the same cut. The A-line shape of this dress makes it timeless. It’s easy and breezy, doesn’t cling and is very forgiving which is always perfect.
Mine came with a beaded collar that makes accessorizing a breeze! No necklace needed. With the embroidered one that I linked for you I would totally add some floral or butterfly earrings to keep it very Spring-y. I kept my Pandora reflexions bracelet which includes my newest charm that I picked up in Aruba as well as my tanzanite Effy ring. Those two pieces I wear every single day, so wearing them to dress up was no exception. I kept it comfortable by keeping with my Tory Burch Miller flats, I do a lot of walking on the ship and I’m not the most graceful so I chose to keep it relaxed and go with my favorites.
This happy girl is dancing her way through these last couple of weeks with the anticipation of the next season.
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;” – Ecclesiastes 3:1-4
…and a time to head to the coffee shop! 😉 Have a blessed week y’all! Spring is coming!
