Uptown Polka Dots

I am constantly on the go these last few weeks especially with working 3 different jobs and my wardrobe needs to adapt to my schedule. Luckily this polka dot top from Rosegal is one of those pieces that allows me to dress it up on a whim. I’ve been going from day to night simply by adding a jacket or changing my shoes. My truck is a total disaster inside from wardrobe changes  but I’m still running and getting things done. (Life of a blogger!) This city girl is always ready to dress it up in less than two minutes.

This post contains items gifted by Rosegal, handpicked by myself.

We all know I love polka dots. They are just so classy and go with EVERYTHING! I have a lot of white on black pieces but not so many with black on white. So when I saw this top on Rosegal I knew it just had to be in my wardrobe. The high neck is tied together with an adorable large bow in the back adding a feminine and classic touch to the piece. It’s a bit light weight which makes it perfect for Spring and layering to get you through the day.

I wanted to keep it classic and feminine so I chose my favorite A-line black skirt and black heels. Not to mention the cute pearl earrings (similar) from Baublebar that I picked up a few years ago. I decided to add a twist and threw another pattern in the mix, my Sole Society clutch from Grace Layne is actually a black leopard print! That’s right mixing my two favorite patterns in one look! Make sure to use code KATIE15 for 15% off at Grace Layne! 😉

This look is ready for a night out, weekend brunch or even a work meeting. It’s so versatile! Simply start the day in flats for the office with a sweater and change your shoes for later in the evening. I know many of you also have busy periods in your life where you know you won’t have time to go home, or you need to be in three different places dressed three different ways throughout the day. I hear ya! And let me tell you, it’s all about taking deep breaths, not being too hard on yourself and staying positive that will get you through everything and have you looking like Wonder Woman in the end. I know it’s hard, but y’all got this!

Hope y’all have a great Easter weekend! HE IS RISEN!!! Enjoy this special time with your family filled with tradition, baskets of candy and egg hunts but always remember why we really celebrate Easter. It’s not about the chocolate, its about Jesus and his sacrifice for YOU! I am laying low with my family at home this year. We are streaming service at home and have ordered the majority of our meal from Whole Foods to make cooking a breeze. I can’t wait for some quiet quality time with my family celebrating Jesus and eating my favorite chocolate! 😉
