Fierce & Fearless

Embracing my fierceness a bit more this week. Although Fall can take its sweet time, I am beyond excited to start adding a bit more leopard print to my wardrobe. I tend to save it for the cooler months but with the scarf I can easily dress up a sundress for Summer.

I snagged this scarf in both colors when I was in San Juan last Winter. It was one of my last purchases that day and completely impulsive. But let me tell you I’m so glad I did! As a sewer it would actually be pretty easy to make and I may even do a DIY on it for a future post. Here is a similar one for you.

I wanted to keep it simple with my favorite sleeveless pocketed dress from New York and Company. Y’all, I literally live in this dress all Summer. I bought it last Summer and have taken through every season in some way. Such a great find and so affordable! Here’s a similar style.

I have been wearing a lot of flats lately, so I jumped at the chance to dust off my old Vince Camuto wedges to pair with this fierce look. The NSale has a pair similar right now here. My earrings are palm leaves in a fun black and white print and go perfectly with the jungle vibe of my light weight scarf. Then to finish my fun look I threw on my favorite gold mirror monogram necklace from Cora’s Den.

I don’t know about you, but I am ready to see the Lion King! 😉 I can’t tell you how excited I’ve been for the new release, I just haven’t had a chance to see it yet as I’ve been so busy lately. As my Mom likes to remind me I used to sit on a rock and “roar” back when the movie came out. Needless to say I have a feeling I’ll be embracing my inner Nala after I see it.

Have a fabulous week y’all!
