October is finally here and it is starting my Birthday month off with a bang! I don’t know what it is about this time of year but it’s always been my favorite and most life changing. I’m sharing my latest purse, a go-to Fall outfit and my thoughts on me turning 30 later this month.

Let’s start with this gorgeous piece of leather/suede perfectly displayed in an art form for me to hold. That’s right, my purse! I am so picky when it comes to investing in a new purse, I have to obsess over it, dream about it and finally in a fleeting moment I will take the plunge and treat myself. Well, that all sort of happened… except this time I made Tucker (my dog) take the plunge and treat his Mommy. So my latest art piece on my arm is actually a Birthday present from Tucker, my little yorkie-poo. He’s always so great with gifts! 😉

This is my first leather piece from Spartina 449 and boy it does not disappoint. The attention to detail is absolutely AMAZING! The logo is stamped on the suede on the sides of the bag as well as the bottom of the studs on the bottom of the bag that keep the bag off of surfaces. Those details make my heart sing and keep me coming back to this brand. The bag has that new car smell that I can’t get enough of and is just a fun style for the season. Needless to say I am in LOVE!

Darker tones have come to the front of my closet and I even broke my boots out this weekend. I know, I’m very disappointed in leaving my flip flops behind. With my love of navy I like to mix it up with patterns and prints you don’t see everywhere. Taking inspiration from my navy/leopard dress last month I’ve been rocking the combination this season. My long sleeve top I stock up in every color from White House Black Market and my skirt is a bit old but here is a similar one for you.

Let’s accessorize! I bought this headband during the Summer, it was definitely in my pile of things I couldn’t wait to wear for Fall. It’s a perfect touch of pearls and a playful way of accessorizing. I am walking a bit more for my new job, which means that my flats have come out to play. I’m a big fan of Tieks and these grey ones are a great neutral. My leopard earrings are part of a bundle that I snagged off of Amazon and I actually have a couple extra brand new pairs I’m thinking of giving away. Stay tuned this month!

I am turning 30 in 14 days. I feel like my 29th year just flew me by and I’ve been holding on with gripped hands. Suddenly my view is changing a bit, I’m actually getting a bit excited for it. A sense of calm and wisdom has actually taken control of my feelings and I’m ready to tackle my 30th year with a bit of class.

It’s no secret “change” has been my theme of the year, with my favorite month and birthday in sight I can’t wait to tackle these next changes headed my way. And I’m not just talking about the leaves! 😉 Have a blessed week y’all!
