I can’t tell you how many compliments I got on this banana leaf pink swimsuit last month. It doesn’t help that I wore my palm leaf kimono over it and showed up on deck commanding attention the second I stepped out of the elevator. The suit quickly became one of my favorites and I couldn’t wait to share it with you.
Let me start by saying that I was searching for suits for months leading up to my trip. For some reason all of the ones that caught my eye were around $150 each! That’s crazy! So when I found this less than $30 Amazon find I knew I had to have it. The suit comes in a bunch of colors and patterns but this pink banana leaf stood out by far for me.
The one piece has that ruffle off the shoulder top that gives a playful touch. The straps are optional and pretty easy to remove. Because of the nature of the waves rocking the ship mixed with this little pool I chose to keep them on just in case. The quality is nice with the suit being lined, padded up top and runs true to size. It’s a perfect addition to your swim wardrobe and perfect for vacation or hanging by the pool this summer.
I’m not one to wear jewelry in the water so accessories are simple this time around. I’m rocking my favorite pair of Quay sunglasses, here is a similar style for you. My coverup isn’t pictured… obviously since I’m in the water but here is the link for my palm leaf kimono.
While I’m posting about swimsuits, pools and tropics in reality I am packing for a 40-50 degree week walking outside. This space girl is headed to Washington DC this week for work. However, I am staying the weekend and spending some time being a tourist in one of my favorite cities. Head on over to my insta-stories towards the end of the week for some peeks into my trip. Have a blessed week y’all!

What do you mean I have to wait 3 1/2 months to go swimming outside again?!?
