These past few weeks have been absolutely crazy, unknown and has honestly felt like an entire year has passed us by. I hope everyone is staying safe, home and healthy. It’s about time that I fill you in on what I’ve been up to during the pandemic… I bought my first home!
I have been very fortunate and blessed this pandemic season. I can’t thank God enough for all of the changes that I have been through this past year as if this happened last year I would have been in a completely different situation. I am still working full time from home; my work life hasn’t changed much to tell you the truth. My last day in my office was March 13th. March 15th I was randomly looking at a condo, it was a last minute we knew the seller type of thing. Next thing I know I asked my realtor if I could pop over to another one on the market and later that afternoon I put in an offer and it was accepted 4 hours later.
I have been busy y’all! I haven’t shared much about what I was up to on my social media channels because I was packing, purging and preparing for another major life change. This whole process has been a bunch of obstacles with new laws/rules going into effect every single week. My closing was definitely an interesting one and I haven’t seen my realtor since the inspection the first week. But I wouldn’t change a bit of it for the world. God led me on a path that kept me excited, busy, blessed and most of all feeling loved. I couldn’t have done this without the love and support of my family.
I am knee deep in unpacking, decorating and creating my first home. Prepare yourselves for more lifestyle and room before/after’s coming your way. Curious about my new home? I bought a condo in my hometown here in Michigan. It’s a two-bedroom, one-bathroom townhouse style with a garage. I am beyond excited about a garage, I’ve never had one! My complex also has a pool. Hopefully this pesky pandemic will be over in time for some pool time this summer!
Stay safe y’all!
