Y’all know I’m a sundress girl through and through. When I’m not in my PJ’s this pandemic season, I am wearing my sundress wardrobe like crazy! Of course, I seem to never have enough in my closet and wanted to share my latest adorable summertime little black dress (LBD) with y’all.

Oh my goodness, this was my first fashion photo shoot since January! With COVID I decided to take that time off as I was moving, busy being a space girl and quite frankly no one was buying clothes for a couple months. Unless it was pajamas of course. Now that things are opening back up here in Michigan, I have finally decided to get back to it. If I’m being completely honest, it was both awkward and wonderful getting back behind the camera. 6 months was a bit too long.

Let’s get to the details, a girl can never have too many LBD’s in her closet. I mean, of course you need one for every season! I ordered this dress back in March knowing that it would quickly become my go-to from Spring until Fall. I like to add jackets and sweaters to make it more versatile. Now that Summer is here, I’m rocking the adorable tie back that gives the perfect feminine touch to the dress. While the black is sold out in the exact dress, here is a similar style for you. The short sleeves and shorter hem make it perfect for this steamy weather and have been keeping me cool while being fashionable.

I was in Washington DC during the last week in February and the cherry blossoms were just starting to think about blooming. Cherry blossom merchandise was all over the stores, shops and vendors so you knew it was close. I couldn’t very well leave without a little token, which is when I found this necklace in a shop right outside my Metro stop. My necklace is rose gold and glittery, mixed with me being a tad rusty at photoshoots and none of the pictures got a clear shot of it. At least I tried! I wanted to keep it light and easy in the accessory department since it’s summer and the temps have been in the 90’s. Which is why on top of the necklace I am just sporting my Tory Burch rose gold miller flats and my Kate Spade pink purse. Keeping it light y’all.

I took an extra day off yesterday to pro-long my weekend and let me tell you, it was a fantastic decision for this girl. I didn’t realize how much I was craving some R&R and it seemed to be just what the doctor ordered. Especially my two hour nap. Now I’m ready to tackle this week and my long to-do list.
