Why, hello there October! What better way to kick off my favorite month than a fashion post and some exciting news about one of my favorite online boutiques! Velvet, sweaters, suede, jeans, booties.. oh my! This season sure has a lot of fun textures on the horizon. 

Fall has arrived and I’m venturing out of my house a bit more and more which means that I’m getting out of my pajamas a bit more than normal. A couple of things have changed in my wardrobe department since COVID hit our nation. Since I am working from home, the opportunities that I do go out are a bit more casual. That means that I am wearing more jeans than normal. I have been a firm believer in perfect – no tears/rips/blemishes jeans for years! So, let’s all take a moment and applaud the fact that there are two tears in my jeans and I have officially jumped in on the bandwagon. Baby steps y’all. Baby steps. Of course the jeans I’m rocking are also bejeweled, so there’s that. Here is a similar pair since mine are long sold out. 

I snagged this sweater and necklace from Main Street Dresser back in February before I headed to Washington DC on a work trip and right before the entire world decided to a bit crazy. As I was coming back from a hiatus it was no longer sweater weather, Main Street Dresser was on a hiatus of her own and the world was still crazy. Well, here is some great news… Main Street Dresser is relaunching FRIDAY!!! I am beyond excited!! I’m not quite sure what will be on the new boutique, but you know I will be shopping. Some of my very favorite pieces have come from there, so it’s definitely worth a look. Make sure to sign up on the email list here for news on relaunch.

Let’s talk accessories. My purse is from Spartina 449 last year. Here is a similar one in their new Ashley River collection. The main difference is that mine is completely suede/leather. I gotta be honest, slipping into my Vince Camuto wedges was a whole kind of Cinderella experience. I have been barefoot or in sandals for over 6 months. Slipping into these guys again was a wonderful experience, I didn’t realize how much I was missing them. Which means that rocking my booties this Fall is going to be loads of fun! I am IN LOVE with this velvet like camisole from Amazon! The material combined with the lace detail makes it such a fun addition for this season and to carry it into the next. It is a tank, so I definitely recommend layering and it runs true to size. It comes in quite a few different colors, I chose the light blue whimsical. 

My favorite season, my Birthday month, busy season at space, change is in the air again… y’all I am just embracing every moment I can of this short Autumn while it lasts! Have a blessed week y’all and go enjoy a bit of the outdoors!
