At this point I donβt think that it surprises anyone that I threw my bags in my room in Arlington and hit the yellow line on the Metro two stops down to get closer to the Potomac River. I had very little free time on this quick trip to DC, and I was bound to take advantage of it in one afternoon.

Frankenmuth Brewery
Its become a yearly tradition for me to head up to Frankenmuth and shop small for Black Friday in the quaint shops around the town. This year, I decided to also try a new location (for me) for lunch, Frankenmuth Brewery! Boy was this place hopping!
Overview of My Wyoming Trip
I’ll be honest, I actually have several Wyoming posts that I want to give you. There was SO much that I did & saw in such a small amount of time, yet so much still that I could do. I’m going to kick off my adventures with an overview of my trip so you get an idea of why I was there, where I went and what I was up too.
Returning to Holland… after 15 years!

Last week I had the pleasure of returning to Holland, Michigan after 15 years. While I was there this time for a jam packed work trip, I still managed to re-live some of my past traditions as well as explore some new ones!

My story with Manitou Beach is just beginning! It was truly love at first sight when I discovered the town for the first time. Traveling Pescatarian: Smithfield Station
You know you love a place when you visit there more than once during a vacation. Actually I used to come to the Smithfield Station when I was a little girl during my times in Virginia. Going back again this Summer felt like home and I fell just in love with it like I did back then.
Traveling Vegetarian: Thrive Juicery
For months I have wanted to try this place, it’s right next to my Trader Joes and I had always wanted to go in. Something always told me to wait for my Mom… so I did. My Mom apparently had the same feelings as I did. Well, last Saturday we were both finally together heading to TJ and it happened, we finally tried Thrive and boy we can’t wait to come back!
Traveling Vegetarian: Gianni’s
Let’s talk Italian food. Better yet, let’s talk about Gianni’s in Aruba. I literally cannot mention it without a relaxed grin coming across my face. It was pure coincidence matched with luck that I learned about this life changing pasta and the amazing people that make it.
My 3 Favorite Drinks on the Ship
The 60 degree heat wave we had here in Michigan yesterday has me feeling tropical vibes again. Not that it really ever went away, but you better believe this girl was sporting some sandals and dreaming about that Peach Sangria from the Serenity Deck on Carnival Cruises. Which is why I am sharing a countdown of my 3 favorite drinks from the ship!
