I have a bit of a confession to make, or another change that has happened recently. I am no longer a vegetarian. Yes, you read that right. So, here is a bit of an update on how I got to that point and back again which all started with bacon 18 years later.
For months I have wanted to try this place, it’s right next to my Trader Joes and I had always wanted to go in. Something always told me to wait for my Mom… so I did. My Mom apparently had the same feelings as I did. Well, last Saturday we were both finally together heading to TJ and it happened, we finally tried Thrive and boy we can’t wait to come back!
The 60 degree heat wave we had here in Michigan yesterday has me feeling tropical vibes again. Not that it really ever went away, but you better believe this girl was sporting some sandals and dreaming about that Peach Sangria from the Serenity Deck on Carnival Cruises. Which is why I am sharing a countdown of my 3 favorite drinks from the ship!
It’s almost the weekend so it’s a perfect time to talk about pastries. Not just any pastries, I’m talking about French pastries from L’Express by Bacchus. As soon as we passed this bakery I knew I was going to be doing a power walk to get myself a good authentic French croissant once the tour bus stopped.
Disney Springs has gotten so many changes over the last couple years, including new shopping, restaurants and gorgeous parking garages. Out of all of these new restaurants I couldn’t wait to stop by to see the new renovations they did to Portobello or as they now call it, Terralina.
