Traveling Vegetarian: Mani Osteria

I’ll be honest, I’m horrible at picking out where to eat when it’s in honor of myself. I am awesome when it comes to a group or when my family is traveling and picking out who accommodates to all of our picky eating. My travel books are complete with menu’s and stars next to what looks great for who. But to just solely think about what I want? It’s not in my heart and I had the hardest time deciding. But boy did I pick right!!!

Trader Joe’s Keto Haul

I’ve been eating a Keto lifestyle since May, give or take. I was a little off kilter when I was on vacation, but for the most part I have been following a low carb, high protein and high fat diet while keeping my net carbs under 40g. Which is pretty hard as a vegetarian/pescatarian and I have learned a lot over the last few months which is why I thought I would share my Keto friendly Trader Joe’s Haul on the blog this weekend.

Traveling Pescatarian: Hurricane Mo’s

A day in the OBX is filled with relaxation, sunshine and plenty of quality time with my family. Speaking of family, my Mamaw’s favorite saying “A Girl’s Gotta Eat” is perfectly fitting for the WHOLE family. There is nothing that separates us from needing to keep to our food schedules. Le Bon Macaron

Do you ever walk into a store and think, “I’m home”? That’s exactly how I felt when I walked into Le Bon Macaron. As someone who is preparing for her own place, walking into this sweet shop was like walking into a dream kitchen for me. My Mom even turned to me and said, “This place is so YOU!” I had followed Le Bon Macaron on social media for a while now, and was so excited for them to open this location. It only took my like 8 months to go check it out because of my busy schedule which I’m so glad I finally went.

Traveling Pescatarian: Mulligan’s Grille

I’m going to let you in on a little secret or a life/eating update if you will. After a year of being a STRICT vegetarian I have slowly started to add seafood back into my diet. I had become a vegetarian because my body was rejecting all types of meat and just in the past couple of weeks I have been craving it again. I am a firm believer of listening to my body, so give it what it wants! You might notice that the title has changed for my Traveling food blogs, when I do NOT eat a vegetarian meal it will be called a Traveling Pescatarian post. My first one happens to be from Mulligan’s Grille in the Outer Banks, North Carolina!! What better place to start eating seafood?!?
