It’s almost the weekend so it’s a perfect time to talk about pastries. Not just any pastries, I’m talking about French pastries from L’Express by Bacchus. As soon as we passed this bakery I knew I was going to be doing a power walk to get myself a good authentic French croissant once the tour bus stopped.

Traveling Vegetarian: Terralina in Disney Springs
Disney Springs has gotten so many changes over the last couple years, including new shopping, restaurants and gorgeous parking garages. Out of all of these new restaurants I couldn’t wait to stop by to see the new renovations they did to Portobello or as they now call it, Terralina.
Cruise Edition: Pizzeria del Capitano
Happy Friday lovelies! Today I wanted to spill some details all about my favorite food group, pizza. Yes, you read that correctly in my world pizza is a main food group and is a very serious subject. As someone who has spent time in Italy it’s actually raised my standards a lot on this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle loving food and made it pretty hard to meet my standards. Carnival has done a wonderful job in the pizza department and it has become one of my most favorite spots on the ships.
Traveling Vegetarian: Fresh Forage
A new restaurant opened on my side of Ann Arbor and y’all know I HAD to go check it out! Fresh Forage was opened by a couple of locals straight outta college and is special in that it’s locally sourced as well as completely customized!
Traveling Vegetarian: HopCat
I’ve actually had the pleasure of visiting two HopCat locations over the years and have loved it every time. Ann Arbor was my first visit years ago and East Lansing was two years ago when I was in town for an event and I knew it was the best place to eat in that area. On my latest visit in Ann Arbor a week or two ago I decided it was finally time to blog about it.
5-2-Oh Food Truck
It’s finally Friday, so let’s talk about tacos! Because what would go better with a Friday than tacos?! A couple weeks ago I shared the absolute best tacos in my life while I was shopping in Frankenmuth on my Instagram stories. Well, now I’m giving you all of the details.
Traveling Vegetarian: Mani Osteria
I’ll be honest, I’m horrible at picking out where to eat when it’s in honor of myself. I am awesome when it comes to a group or when my family is traveling and picking out who accommodates to all of our picky eating. My travel books are complete with menu’s and stars next to what looks great for who. But to just solely think about what I want? It’s not in my heart and I had the hardest time deciding. But boy did I pick right!!!
Skinny Italian Soda Recipe
I’ve been making Italian Soda’s for myself for a couple months now as an afternoon treat. I started by making peach ones this summer and with the change in seasons I have switched up my flavor to something a bit more Fall.
Trader Joe’s Keto Haul
I’ve been eating a Keto lifestyle since May, give or take. I was a little off kilter when I was on vacation, but for the most part I have been following a low carb, high protein and high fat diet while keeping my net carbs under 40g. Which is pretty hard as a vegetarian/pescatarian and I have learned a lot over the last few months which is why I thought I would share my Keto friendly Trader Joe’s Haul on the blog this weekend.
Traveling Pescatarian: Hurricane Mo’s
A day in the OBX is filled with relaxation, sunshine and plenty of quality time with my family. Speaking of family, my Mamaw’s favorite saying “A Girl’s Gotta Eat” is perfectly fitting for the WHOLE family. There is nothing that separates us from needing to keep to our food schedules. The ending to our day in the Outer Banks started perfectly at Hurricane Mo’s with a Pina Colada in hand. Continue reading
