I’m sure we’re all in need of a vacation at this point! With the travel industry still on pause, I thought it would be best to resume sharing my travel posts from the winter. So, let’s take a mini-vaca via this post to Mr. Sanchos in Cozumel!

Dive In Movies
One of my biggest packing tips might seem a little odd for sailing off in the Caribbean… Bring a hoodie! Not for island adventures of course but for the Dive In Movies late at night on deck! Sharing all about the Dive In process and my traditions for those nights.
Onboard Panama Canal Transit
Panama Canal is officially the southern most point that I have sailed to, and let me tell you that day was a journey on it’s own. This destination was the reason why I went on my specific cruise this year and I now have the honor of saying that I’ve done it twice. All the way through, turned around and came back again.
Aruba 2020
I was pleased as punch the moment that I stepped ashore in Aruba. It’s been one of my favorites from the beginning and I couldn’t wait to explore it further. I did something a bit out of the norm and booked a tour through Carnival that gave a tour of the island. Normally, because I am so comfortable on that island I would have just hired a local and saved quite a bit of money. The tour did not disappoint and gave me an insight to the island that I didn’t quite see before.
2020 Vacation Highlights
Miss Me? I’ve been a bit busy sailing the Caribbean sea these last couple of weeks. I managed to work my fins off right until it was time to sail out, so it was a much needed break. Where have I been? Well, this year’s vacation was a 14 day cruise and a partial Panama transit!
Aruba 2019

St. Thomas 2019
St. Thomas is always one of my favorite islands. I have been there a couple times and have done quite a few excursions. On this last trip I decided to do only a couple things, keep it laid back and all within walking distance of the port.
Carnival Cruise Embarkation – Port Canaveral
I shared this past Fall all about the embarkation. Well, things changed majorly in the past month so I’m sharing all the new details as well as keeping it with the port this time. As I’m not positive on the other ports new policies this is all about my experience getting on the ship at Port Canaveral/Orlando Florida for Carnival Cruise Lines.
Traveling Vegetarian: Gianni’s
Let’s talk Italian food. Better yet, let’s talk about Gianni’s in Aruba. I literally cannot mention it without a relaxed grin coming across my face. It was pure coincidence matched with luck that I learned about this life changing pasta and the amazing people that make it.
My 3 Favorite Drinks on the Ship
The 60 degree heat wave we had here in Michigan yesterday has me feeling tropical vibes again. Not that it really ever went away, but you better believe this girl was sporting some sandals and dreaming about that Peach Sangria from the Serenity Deck on Carnival Cruises. Which is why I am sharing a countdown of my 3 favorite drinks from the ship!
