As soon as I heard that a new dog bakery was opening in Chelsea I started stalking their page like a Kate Spade bag on sale. Once the grand opening was announced I planned a date with Tucker to take him to The Brown Basset. I was lucky enough to meet the owners the night before so I was already on friendly terms before I even walked in the door. I’ve made a bit of a Friday habit by stopping by after work for Tucker’s t-r-e-a-t-s for the week.

Girl’s Day at Top Golf
Let me start out by stating that I have never golfed before in my life. However it was always something that I wanted to learn. I discovered Top Golf online when I was searching for things to do on a Girl’s Day with my cousin Madison and it looked like a fun opportunity to get my foot into the golfing world… or at least my pinky toe.
Travel Accessories from SEmbroidered Boutique
I love to travel, and with several trips on my horizon this year I found myself needing some new travel accessories. I was searching Etsy for a jewelry case when I came across SEmbroidered Boutique, which is where I got my favorite monogram clutch! I was so excited I knew I had to order from them for my upcoming trips.
My Fun Filled Saturday at Crystal Mountain
WARNING: There are a LOT of pictures of Michigan’s Fall colors in this post. The pictures were so gorgeous I couldn’t help but share them with you in a blog post! My family and I took a road trip up to Crystal Mountain (not to far from Traverse City) a few days early for a summit that we were working and we had such a fun family mini vacation celebrating my favorite season in the perfect Michigan fashion.
Traveling Vegetarian: Ponce City Market
My last day in Atlanta was spent battling traffic for a favor for my Dad. Remember that bridge collapse of I-80? My trip down there was right after that happened and all traffic was re-routed and majorly backed up. After having a bit of a stressful morning an old friend recommended that I head to Ponce City Market for the day.
Curacao
My trip to Curacao was a bit different for me and it left me wanting to do so much more on the island. I had never been to a port in the evening before, and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. It was a perfect little adventure that I can’t wait to return to continue.
My Top 3 in Santo Domingo
My inner history buff did a lot of research in preparation for stopping in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on my latest cruise. I was beyond excited to see the oldest city in the Americas! This week I am sharing my top 3 spots to see in Santo Domingo!
Swan House
I made my way to Atlanta, Georgia this past April. I always tend to research places that I am going and I knew I just had to see the Atlanta History Museum, especially the Swan House! This house was commissioned in 1928 at the end of the Jazz Age and is straight out of my dreams. I made sure to take lots of pictures to take you through the house as well.
A Weekend in Paducah
If you’re following me on any of my social media you know that I went on a road trip this weekend with my Mom and Mamaw to Paducah, Kentucky! Paducah is best known for being the quilting capital for quilters all over the United States. The trip was filled with laughter, shopping, sightseeing and some more shopping!
