It definitely looks like Christmas in my Tower! I have been slowly making my Christmas decor/theme for at least five years now, this is the first time that it has all been out on display together and complete. I couldn’t wait to share it with y’all! Grab some cocoa and have a seat because every piece has a tale or a bit of family history behind it. ‘Tis the season to grab some cocoa and have a Nutcracker viewing party or even just a reason to get together with your nearest and dearest. Y’all know I love a theme and this one is fit for the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Land of the Sweets that she calls home.
My screen door has finally arrived completing my entryway and I couldn’t wait to finally take pictures and share it all with you! Especially since it’s decorated for my favorite season. Although, I need to get moving on the binding for my halloween quilt if I want to get it hanging in time to replace the whales.
I think I took a nap almost every single day last summer outside on the patio. I used to work my day job in a room with no windows and no doors, so I would come home and soak up every ounce of sunshine I could. When I moved into my Tower I knew immediately I was going to need to turn my balcony into a space that was instant nap worthy for the summer. Luckily, I found just that early on!
This week is all about Tucker and how I went about moving my elderly canine best friend. I was definitely worried as to how he was going to handle this big change in his life and schedule. I’m so thrilled at how it turned out and hope that it helps anyone else moving their furry best friends.
My living room is done, clean and before Tucker decides to get out all of his toys I thought it would be best to photograph it. This room was my dining room my first day on the floor, my bedroom my first two nights here and thankfully my living room all the times in between. Today, I am sharing the transformation of the room that I spend most of my time in.
Never in my wildest did I think that my sewing room would be the first before and after that I would be sharing with y’all. But after a vision, rush of adrenaline, lack of sleep and lots of peanut M&M’s this room came together perfectly in four days this past weekend.

These past few weeks have been absolutely crazy, unknown and has honestly felt like an entire year has passed us by. I hope everyone is staying safe, home and healthy. It’s about time that I fill you in on what I’ve been up to during the pandemic… I bought my first home!
Like most people, I have a quite a few traditions this month. Two of mine happen to have happened this past weekend and are so similar yet so different that I thought I would share a piece of my December with y’all.
