For months I have wanted to try this place, it’s right next to my Trader Joes and I had always wanted to go in. Something always told me to wait for my Mom… so I did. My Mom apparently had the same feelings as I did. Well, last Saturday we were both finally together heading to TJ and it happened, we finally tried Thrive and boy we can’t wait to come back!

I’ll be honest, I’m horrible at picking out where to eat when it’s in honor of myself. I am awesome when it comes to a group or when my family is traveling and picking out who accommodates to all of our picky eating. My travel books are complete with menu’s and stars next to what looks great for who. But to just solely think about what I want? It’s not in my heart and I had the hardest time deciding. My Guide to Ann Arbor: West Side

Whether your coming for a visit, passing through or even decided to attend the University of Michigan my wish is that these lists of my favorite spots in Ann Arbor help guide your way through the city that has been my playground all my life. I decided to start off my Guide to Ann Arbor with the side that I tend to spend most of my time in, the West Side! It’s actually closest to Chelsea, so it only takes me about 15 minutes to get to all of my favorites.

Le Bon Macaron

Do you ever walk into a store and think, “I’m home”? That’s exactly how I felt when I walked into Le Bon Macaron. As someone who is preparing for her own place, walking into this sweet shop was like walking into a dream kitchen for me. My Mom even turned to me and said, “This place is so YOU!” I had followed Le Bon Macaron on social media for a while now, and was so excited for them to open this location. It only took my like 8 months to go check it out because of my busy schedule which I’m so glad I finally went.
