Last weekend I hit the coast of Lake Michigan to one of my favorite lake towns complete with some gorgeous beach vibes and lighthouse views. My first beach/lake day of the year was the perfect excuse to wear this Americana Tie Dye Maxi that can go from coverup on the beach to strolling the shops in the town.Continue reading
While it may appear to be a post about a girl’s day trip to Saint Joseph, Michigan and it totally is! I’m also sharing a piece of my heart about disappointment, plot twists and listening to what God has planned rather than your plans this week.
My day in the Outer Banks last month was a bit different from my norm. In reality I was on the beach less than 10 minutes. I’m going to let you in on a little secret or a life/eating update if you will. After a year of being a STRICT vegetarian I have slowly started to add seafood back into my diet. I had become a vegetarian because my body was rejecting all types of meat and just in the past couple of weeks I have been craving it again. I am a firm believer of listening to my body, so give it what it wants! You might notice that the title has changed for my Traveling food blogs, when I do NOT eat a vegetarian meal it will be called a Traveling Pescatarian post. My first one happens to be from Mulligan’s Grille in the Outer Banks, North Carolina!! What better place to start eating seafood?!?
I’ve been wearing this dress on repeat lately and I couldn’t wait to share it with y’all! Luckily it’s been a bit warmer here in Michigan so I was able to wear it during my daily life as well as during my trip to Florida a couple weeks ago.
February is my absolute least favorite month. It’s the shortest, yet feels like the longest. Normally I take a vacation by now somewhere warm and sunny as well as start preparing for Spring Break. This year I am staying in Michigan for the Winter and I need something warm and sunny to focus my attention on which is why I decided to interrupt your Valentine’s Day shopping for a Spring Break Swimsuit Wish List from Rosegal.
