Happy New Year Lovelies!! It’s time to get a bit honest with you this coming year with LLP… I’ve prided myself on my consistency for years now and unfortunately, I need to warn you that this coming year is about to get a bit inconsistent. My priorities are elsewhere as they should be right now. While you will totally see updates from me with lots of fun and exciting content, it just might not be every week like you’ve come accustom to.
Let’s throw it back to the beginning of this year when I went on an amazing tropical vacation. The last port of call, Amber Cove was definitely one of my favorites, a laid back pool party in the heart of the Caribbean.
I am living for those moments in the sun. Especially if it comes with an iced latte in hand. I actually work my day job inside with no windows and no ounce of sunshine. So let me tell you, naps outside on my patio have become an afterwork tradition as are stopping by my new favorite coffee shop on the way home. I’m going to miss these days of throwing on a sundress and running out the door to spend time in the sunshine, so I’m milking it as long as I can.
Do you ever walk into a store and think, “I’m home”? That’s exactly how I felt when I walked into Le Bon Macaron. As someone who is preparing for her own place, walking into this sweet shop was like walking into a dream kitchen for me. My Mom even turned to me and said, “This place is so YOU!” I had followed Le Bon Macaron on social media for a while now, and was so excited for them to open this location. It only took my like 8 months to go check it out because of my busy schedule which I’m so glad I finally went.
On the last day of my trip to Virginia my family and I were needing something that was more “us” for lunch. If that makes sense. We had had a lot of rich foods, as well as meals that we are not used to eating and we were just craving something light. That’s how we ended up at Borjo Coffeehouse in Norfolk. If a coffee shop isn’t me, I don’t know what is!
I’ve flown all my life; in fact, it’s my favorite way to travel! I recently had a layover in Atlanta and I thought it would be a perfect way to tell you how I turned what some people view as a burden or hassle and turned it into a positive and relaxing experience for myself. So this week I am sharing my layover experience with you, but I do want to warn you it’s pretty long.
The moment I laid eyes on this sweater I knew I just had to have it. It’s very rare that I find a more modern version of leopard and since that’s what I prefer it ended up in my cart without a second of hesitation. I’m also sharing about this adorable coffee cup purse because y’all know I can’t live without my coffee!
