Pink, Navy & Monogram Tote

It’s light sweater weather here in Michigan and as much as I am not ready for Fall I can’t seem to get warm lately. I’ve been bundling in sweaters and even socks! (And I HATE socks!) Despite being cold I like to surround myself with happy, warm colors. I’ve always loved pink and navy together! Add in a monogram and I am one happy girl.

Fall Transition

Fall hit us hard in Michigan on September 1st. I woke up to crisp air, leaves on the ground, 50 degree temperature and a craving for a pumpkin spice latte. Personally, I wasn’t ready. I’m still not ready to give up my flip flops so this week I am sharing my top two favorite transition pieces into fall. (FYI: I am NEVER ready to give up my flip flops!)

Let’s Talk Kimonos

Kimonos have been so on trend lately, and I couldn’t be happier! They are the perfect addition to spruce up any outfit. You can wear them with jeans, work wear or over a sundress to add a different look. What’s even better is that a thicker kimono is the perfect piece to transition into Fall.

Swan House

I made my way to Atlanta, Georgia this past April. I always tend to research places that I am going and I knew I just had to see the Atlanta History Museum, especially the Swan House! This house was commissioned in 1928 at the end of the Jazz Age and is straight out of my dreams. I made sure to take lots of pictures to take you through the house as well.

Your own Personal Stylist through Stitch Fix!

With my busy hectic schedule, I don’t always have time to go shopping for myself, especially when I need more staple pieces in my wardrobe.  I don’t know about you but I have always thought it would be fun to have a personal stylist like you see on TV. Stitch Fix gives you that luxury of having a personal stylist who personally selects pieces specifically for you based off of your profile, likes and your own style.  Not only does she select items that you will love, but they will be arriving directly to your door so you can try them on in the privacy of your home, which also gives you the opportunity to pair them with things that you already have in your closet.
