I’ve always been told that I would have loved the ‘50’s and I think that they’re totally right! The dresses were absolutely lovely back then and the part I love the most is that it was the standard in fashion to dress nice. The standards have fallen so drastically in my lifetime, I won’t even comment on the jeans down to the knees look. But I can’t wear a dress a single day without being asked where I’m going “so dressed up”. Y’all this just irks me, as it’s just my daily wardrobe. I have no issues by staying true to myself no matter what decade I live in. Alright, mini rant over let’s get back to this adorable dress!
Y’all I have been so excited for this post, I couldn’t wait to share this with you. I have recently collaborated with Grace Layne and am not only sharing this amazing top with you but I’m also sharing a promo code just for you!
What does a Style Influencer wear on a college campus tour when there is a heat advisory in affect? Apparently a new Lilly Pulitzer dress with an Athleta Mind Set super soft vest to help bear the high air conditioned buildings. In all fairness I was comfortable, fashionable and had a blast exploring the brick buildings.
I am back home and starting this week off with a bang! I don’t know what it is about traveling but I always end up with more inspiration as well as a drive that I like to take advantage of before it wears off. Maybe that’s just the way my mind works best? Anyways, this week I am sharing my travel outfit from my wardrobe which includes these comfy and fun printed pants from Lane Bryant.
I snagged this dress at Hips Resale Boutique in March and I just knew when I laid my hands on it that it was going home with me. Trying on the dress just solidified the deal for me and it has quickly become my new go-to.
I came across the Lost Bros on Instagram and my inner Disney Princess instantly fell in love with their fun products, restaurant reviews and consistently giving me the Disney fix on their Instagram videos that I have been desperately craving. I couldn’t wait to order one of their products and chose this ever fitting Mermaid Lagoon tee.
I have loved Lilly Pulitzer for quite some time now, but boy not having a store near me to try things on makes it almost impossible to find something that fits perfectly for a curvy girl like me. I can’t tell you how many things I have bought and returned. Not only did I finally find the perfect top but a week later I ended up in a Lilly store and was able to create a guide which I will be sharing next week for you!
Greetings from Kansas y’all! I had a blast this Easter weekend in this windy state but am on my way home today. I have absolutely fallen in love with this Gypsy top from Yours and couldn’t wait to share it with you!
I am craving the blue ocean with my toes in the sand, so what better way to deal with reality than wear a long flowy blue dress?! I also need to apologize in advance, I just got this gorgeous new Kate Spade pink purse in and I am absolutely in love with it; so of course it’s going to be in a LOT of future posts.
Y’all know that I love pink, but I have another little fun fact to share with you this week. I have a love of cars! Not just any cars, of course my number one main squeeze is my truck, Hemi. But my dream cars include a Viper, Jaguar and a Jeep Wrangler! I get it honestly, my Grandpa used work at Chrysler Proving Grounds in Chelsea, not to mention my Mom used to drive a little X19 Fiat back in the day. So when I saw Kate Spade come out with these pink car sandals I knew I just had to have them! I’ve had so much fun planning outfits around them.
