I am the biggest sucker for polka dots! The other day at church I was stopped because people found it fun that I would match my polka dot coffee cup to my polka dot shirt. (Complete accident!) But all I kept thinking was that I should have brought my polka dot purse to match!
It’s time to give winter the cold shoulder! 😉 I don’t know about you but I am dreaming of beaches, sunshine and flip flops on a loop inside my head. 24/7. This Black cold shoulder Lace top from To Save is so adorable I couldn’t help but start wearing it in the winter. (Please note it was SNOWING during this photo shoot!)
On the long trek up to Crystal Mountain a couple months ago my Mom mentioned that she was in the mood for a pastie. For those not from the North, it’s like a meat pie with little veggies inside that usually comes in beef and chicken. It’s very common for hunting season. I joked that they “shoot vegetarians up here” but she was on a mission and I know that if a woman in my family is on a mission get out of her way!
Christmas is over, let’s talk Spring! … Kidding! But I totally approve of rocking some floral patterns this winter, and this top from To Save is perfect for just that!
I totally feel like a rockstar in this high/low top from Rosegal. Which is usually the perfect reason that you should get the top. If something makes you confident and amazing, buy it! This one isn’t even a splurge, it’s totally affordable! I’m planning on rocking this top on New Year’s Eve this year. It’s not sparkly, but it’s different and fun which will make it perfect for the occasion.
Let’s talk tacos! I had such a perfect afternoon at Mama Lu’s in Traverse City a few weeks ago. The weather was around 75 degrees and sunny making it perfect to stroll through downtown on my first and brief visit to the city. Eating outside, being comfortable, enjoying the sunshine… sounds like bliss! Not to mention how scrumptious those tacos were.
Happy week of Thanksgiving! The temperatures are dropping here in Michigan and I’ve already started listening to Christmas music. #NoShame. I love to keep things bright and cheerful in the winter, especially since we go days without sunshine and things start looking a bit dreary. That’s a big reason why I love this sweater, the color is so happy and fun!
The moment I laid eyes on this sweater I knew I just had to have it. It’s very rare that I find a more modern version of leopard and since that’s what I prefer it ended up in my cart without a second of hesitation. I’m also sharing about this adorable coffee cup purse because y’all know I can’t live without my coffee!
I am LOVING this velvet trend and couldn’t wait to share this one with you. This top is just so soft and feminine with a bit of a modern look, and who doesn’t love bell sleeves!?!
