Its become a yearly tradition for me to head up to Frankenmuth and shop small for Black Friday in the quaint shops around the town. This year, I decided to also try a new location (for me) for lunch, Frankenmuth Brewery! Boy was this place hopping!

So, whether your throwing a killer spread in front of the couch, hosting a tailgate or hitting up a sports bar to watch the game; I’m sharing one of my weekend looks and a couple of my favorite places that I find my game day fashions.
Continue readingMichigan Football Brunch

To kick off the start of football season, I threw a brunch fit for any University of Michigan fan. Y’all know I love a good theme, so of course I went all out! Including customizing my own napkins. I tried my best to customize the menu to fit ‘Maize & Blue’ as much as possible while keeping the tradition of brunch and a splash of good old fashioned football.

Last week I had the pleasure of returning to Holland, Michigan after 15 years. While I was there this time for a jam packed work trip, I still managed to re-live some of my past traditions as well as explore some new ones!

My story with Manitou Beach is just beginning! It was truly love at first sight when I discovered the town for the first time. My Guide to Ann Arbor: West Side
Whether your coming for a visit, passing through or even decided to attend the University of Michigan my wish is that these lists of my favorite spots in Ann Arbor help guide your way through the city that has been my playground all my life. I decided to start off my Guide to Ann Arbor with the side that I tend to spend most of my time in, the West Side! It’s actually closest to Chelsea, so it only takes me about 15 minutes to get to all of my favorites.
The Brown Basset
As soon as I heard that a new dog bakery was opening in Chelsea I started stalking their page like a Kate Spade bag on sale. Once the grand opening was announced I planned a date with Tucker to take him to The Brown Basset. I was lucky enough to meet the owners the night before so I was already on friendly terms before I even walked in the door. I’ve made a bit of a Friday habit by stopping by after work for Tucker’s t-r-e-a-t-s for the week.
