I do have a confession to make, this non snowy winter hating girl was having a blast in the snow shooting this floral dress. There’s something about a gorgeous dress to make you feel enough confidence in yourself to not mind the below freezing temps and frozen particles of hatred.
Let me start off by disclaiming that I have never had Indian food before. I was going to dinner with my friend Andrea and she was craving Indian, so I thought why not try something new!?! We went to Everest Sherpa in Ann Arbor and it was such a fun environment, not to mention had delicious food! But I totally made her order for me!
I have to be honest, there are not many outfits where I go, “WOW, I slayed that one!” For starters, I don’t usually use the word “slay”. But for this outfit, I looked at the photos and just thought, it’s completely me! I’m not sure if it was the combination of the blue ombré with the leather look jacket, or the fact that I am legitimately wearing my initial….?
It’s time to give winter the cold shoulder! 😉 I don’t know about you but I am dreaming of beaches, sunshine and flip flops on a loop inside my head. 24/7. This Black cold shoulder Lace top from To Save is so adorable I couldn’t help but start wearing it in the winter. (Please note it was SNOWING during this photo shoot!)
On my last trip to Grand Rapids, Michigan I was on a mission for an amazing grilled cheese sandwich! Before my trip I was told to check out Two Beards Deli when I go, of course being me I perused the menu that same day and found plenty for this vegetarian to eat including a pretty awesome grilled cheese.
I totally feel like a rockstar in this high/low top from Rosegal. Which is usually the perfect reason that you should get the top. If something makes you confident and amazing, buy it! This one isn’t even a splurge, it’s totally affordable! I’m planning on rocking this top on New Year’s Eve this year. It’s not sparkly, but it’s different and fun which will make it perfect for the occasion.
Let’s talk tacos! I had such a perfect afternoon at Mama Lu’s in Traverse City a few weeks ago. The weather was around 75 degrees and sunny making it perfect to stroll through downtown on my first and brief visit to the city. Eating outside, being comfortable, enjoying the sunshine… sounds like bliss! Not to mention how scrumptious those tacos were.
Happy week of Thanksgiving! The temperatures are dropping here in Michigan and I’ve already started listening to Christmas music. #NoShame. I love to keep things bright and cheerful in the winter, especially since we go days without sunshine and things start looking a bit dreary. That’s a big reason why I love this sweater, the color is so happy and fun!
It is no secret that I am in love with Stitch Fix, it’s a fantastic service for my busy schedule and it helps push me out of my fashion comfort zone. I have been using Stitch Fix for over a year now and I have rounded up my 3 favorite tops to share with all of you.
