It’s been a while y’all! Sorry about that. What have I been up to this Summer? Well! That’s a long tale… there’s been just so much going on with me lately. I’ve had plenty planned to share, but there just hadn’t been enough time in a day to do it all. Before I share posts about all the fun stuff, I thought I would do a big Summer 2022 recap of what’s kept me busy and what has slowed me down.
It’s been a few years since I’ve been able to host my annual Kentucky Derby Party. What with the Pandemic, moving and the world on pause. This year though, I decided to break out the mint juleps, roses and yard games for the fun tradition to bring everyone together yet again!
Reagan (my Fur-Sister) turned 1 at the beginning of this month. In the months leading up to it, I knew just what kind of epic party to throw her… a SplashPawty! My water loving Mermaid Fur-Sister has enjoyed the splash pad (pool) I bought her for Christmas ever since the temps got warm. What better way than to turn this into an epic party filled with her favorite things featuring Dollar Tree?!

I am always ready for Brunch! Last weekend I had the perfect excuse to pull out all the stops. For a select few of course, it’s still a pandemic season after all. A family member’s birthday was a great reason to go all out hosting a Biscuit Bar with all the fixin’s!
‘Tis the season to grab some cocoa and have a Nutcracker viewing party or even just a reason to get together with your nearest and dearest. Y’all know I love a theme and this one is fit for the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Land of the Sweets that she calls home.
I can’t believe Christmas is next week already! I don’t know about you but my December has been filled with parties, unexpectedness, events, deadlines and more importantly a lot of moments for me to stop and remind myself to breathe. I thought it would be the perfect time to share my Holiday look with you this week.
It’s a short week filled with family, thankfulness and lots of traditional American food. Which is why I am sharing my recent Fiesta Party with you this week! There is nothing I love more than a good theme party and when it was suggested that I do a taco bar for a beloved family member I couldn’t wait! Time to spice it up a bit!
I’ll admit, I’m REALLY behind in my movie watching the majority of the time. But there’s nothing I love more than a good movie night but I like to kick it up a notch and create a whole theme to the evening. Crimes of Grindelwald was released in November and I finally saw it last week, but not before I threw a movie night for Fantastic Beasts leading up to it.
New Years is coming and I can’t wait to sip on some bubbly and dance the night away. Granted Christmas is next week and don’t get me wrong, I’m totally stoked but I couldn’t wait to share my New Years Eve dress from Rosegal with y’all!
