I was blessed to be able to take a last minute trip to Port Huron last month. It was a quick overnight work trip, but a fun, jam packed one at that!

Washington DC: Wharf District
At this point I don’t think that it surprises anyone that I threw my bags in my room in Arlington and hit the yellow line on the Metro two stops down to get closer to the Potomac River. I had very little free time on this quick trip to DC, and I was bound to take advantage of it in one afternoon.
Travel Packing List
Let’s face it, I’m a Jetsetter! I have been for quite some time now. I’ve been packing my suitcase for so long that I used to have it almost ready to go at a moment’s notice. Mix that with my fearless nature, and I’m quite fun to travel with!
Wyoming Favorites, Tips & Wish List
Naturally after spending quite a few days in a location I develop some favorites. Well, I also have some tips if you’re headed to this popular destination yourself as well as my wish list if I ever find myself returning!
Overview of My Wyoming Trip
I’ll be honest, I actually have several Wyoming posts that I want to give you. There was SO much that I did & saw in such a small amount of time, yet so much still that I could do. I’m going to kick off my adventures with an overview of my trip so you get an idea of why I was there, where I went and what I was up too.
A Day in Manitou Beach

My story with Manitou Beach is just beginning! It was truly love at first sight when I discovered the town for the first time. A scenario I like to call a “happy accident”, but has God’s hand all over it! The town has quickly become one of my favorite escapes and I couldn’t wait to share it with you. I took a random day off from work during the July 4th weekend and had a blast shopping and exploring.
Continue readingDive In Movies
One of my biggest packing tips might seem a little odd for sailing off in the Caribbean… Bring a hoodie! Not for island adventures of course but for the Dive In Movies late at night on deck! Sharing all about the Dive In process and my traditions for those nights.
Onboard Panama Canal Transit
Panama Canal is officially the southern most point that I have sailed to, and let me tell you that day was a journey on it’s own. This destination was the reason why I went on my specific cruise this year and I now have the honor of saying that I’ve done it twice. All the way through, turned around and came back again.
Banana Leaf Pink Swimsuit
I can’t tell you how many compliments I got on this banana leaf pink swimsuit last month. It doesn’t help that I wore my palm leaf kimono over it and showed up on deck commanding attention the second I stepped out of the elevator. The suit quickly became one of my favorites and I couldn’t wait to share it with you.
Aruba 2020
I was pleased as punch the moment that I stepped ashore in Aruba. It’s been one of my favorites from the beginning and I couldn’t wait to explore it further. I did something a bit out of the norm and booked a tour through Carnival that gave a tour of the island. Normally, because I am so comfortable on that island I would have just hired a local and saved quite a bit of money. The tour did not disappoint and gave me an insight to the island that I didn’t quite see before.
