My goodness time flies when you’re busy being blessed and having plot twists left and right! I literally blinked and 7 months have passed by before I even thought about another blog post, let alone had time to sit down and write one. Grab a cup of coffee and let’s catch up y’all, cause a lot has changed around here!
Apparently your girl has got festivals down to an art! Who knew!?! Turns out being a planner and an over thinker was the perfect combination for turning up to the Mac & Cheese Festival this Summer with a game plan and in style.
It’s been a while y’all! Sorry about that. What have I been up to this Summer? Well! That’s a long tale… there’s been just so much going on with me lately. I’ve had plenty planned to share, but there just hadn’t been enough time in a day to do it all. Before I share posts about all the fun stuff, I thought I would do a big Summer 2022 recap of what’s kept me busy and what has slowed me down.
I was blessed to be able to take a last minute trip to Port Huron last month. It was a quick overnight work trip, but a fun, jam packed one at that!
It’s been a few years since I’ve been able to host my annual Kentucky Derby Party. What with the Pandemic, moving and the world on pause. This year though, I decided to break out the mint juleps, roses and yard games for the fun tradition to bring everyone together yet again!
My bar cart has been a couple months in the making now to get everything just right. It fits perfectly in this rather awkward nook in my living room while brining a fun touch to the corner.
At this point I don’t think that it surprises anyone that I threw my bags in my room in Arlington and hit the yellow line on the Metro two stops down to get closer to the Potomac River. I had very little free time on this quick trip to DC, and I was bound to take advantage of it in one afternoon.
Let’s face it, I’m a Jetsetter! I have been for quite some time now. I’ve been packing my suitcase for so long that I used to have it almost ready to go at a moment’s notice. Mix that with my fearless nature, and I’m quite fun to travel with!
One of my very favorite Christmas traditions in my family happens on Christmas Eve, a pizza bar. It started with my late Grandparents and when I moved into my condo I ended up hosting the tradition of making our own pizzas. You see, In my family we always have a pizza party for Jesus for His birthday!
If you’re anything like me, it’s the season to snuggle up on the couch and watch plenty of movies. Naturally, I like to kick it up a notch! Which is why I’m sharing a peak at how I like to do my Christmas Movie Nights… mainly, the concessions! 😉
